Hosted by Northeastern Wisconsin, Green Bay, WI
About this Event
The Trout Lawrence University project consists of 4 floors, 1st floor is the new Trout Museum of Art, 2nd floor is the new Lawrence University Educational Space, and the 3rd & 4th Floors are the Market rate apartments. The first two floors of the building are traditional construction methods with structural steel and concrete wrapped with steel studs. The 3rd and 4th floors are constructed using Volumetric Modular construction techniques. There are elements of the project that have incorporated a modular design and construction for the apartments and exterior wall construction that can be discussed in further detail during the tour.
This facility tour will focus on the following:
- The effectiveness, efficiencies, and the benefits of Volumetric Modular Construction (including designing for Volumetric Modular Construction).
- The effectiveness, efficiencies, and the benefits of panelized modular construction.
- The challenges and awareness with site logistics when completing projects within tight site boundaries.
